RESINPAVE™ Resin Pavement™ is a unique patented system that creates flexible "pavement" with a natural appearance making it the perfect choice for any setting where the trail, path, recreational area, road or parking lot must blend with the environment or architectural/historical features.RESINPAVE™ is environmentally friendly. It is the best option for sensitive areas and fragile habitats. It is made from renewable resources, harvested on a sustainable basis. RESINPAVE™ has no hazardous components. It is non-flammable, non-corrosive, and non-toxic; therefore, there are no problems with leaching, recycling, site or ground water contamination. RESINPAVE™ is suitable for all weather and climate conditions. It is lighter in color than asphalt and, therefore, is more light reflective, providing cooler summer surface temperatures. In addition to its unmatched aesthetics, RESINPAVE™ is very strong. Marshall Stability tests indicate load capabilities exceeding asphalt. RESINPAVE™ creates a stable, water resistant surface. RESINPAVE™ is made with a highly stable, non-ionic, non-petroleum based emulsion that is mixed with an appropriate aggregate and applied at ambient temperatures, creating a flexible pavement that takes on the color of the aggregate. The emulsion is made primarily with pitch and rosin from pine trees. Other proprietary natural ingredients round out the formulation. Since it is mixed and installed at ambient temperatures, RESINPAVE™ is easy to use and eliminates the need for heated transportation and storage. |
